Newport Beach, CA May 31, 2012 - InXile Entertainment today announced The Bard's Tale for Mac is now available in the Mac App Store. Following on the success of The Bard's Tale for iOS, where it hit the top-ten in iPad games and became the #1 RPG in 63 countries, The Bard's Tale now makes its long awaited debut on the Mac.
'We've had many requests for a Mac version of The Bard's Tale over the years and I am happy to make this our first Mac game from inXile,' said Brian Fargo, CEO of inXile Entertainment.
The Mac version of The Bard's Tale features saved-game compatibility and sharing with iOS devices through iCloud for Mac OS X Lion (10.7 or higher). Players can enjoy The Bard's Tale on their Mac in the comfort of their home and continue their adventure on the go with their iPhone or iPad.

Files for Mac can be run on all versions of OS X.You need to uncompress the 7z archive using the proper software (please use Keka to avoid problems). If the archive contains a DMG, double click it to mount the disk.After that, drag & drop the game icon into Applications (or another folder, Desktop will be fine too).New versions of MacOS block applications from identified developers. If you have this problem, just press Ctrl while clicking the game icon, and select Open.Alternatively you can use the 'Open Anyway' button in the General pane of Security & Privacy preferences.
